Constitutional Carry legislation is on the move all over the country right now, and it’s just been filed in Atlanta!
If passed, House File 2 (filed by State Representative Philip Singleton) would make Georgia the sixteenth Constitutional Carry state and bring us into line with a large number of ‘red’ states that have already enacted it.
For those who might not be familiar with Constitutional Carry, the legislation is quite simple.
If you are legally allowed to own a firearm, you could carry that firearm with no additional government interference required!
No more paying fees or adding your name to a government database just to be able to carry a firearm for self-defense — it’s just the Second Amendment, the way our forefathers intended it.

And if anyone ever doubted the necessity of passing Constitutional Carry law, the chaos of last year has put an end to that, once and for all.
Shaken by travel bans, empty store shelves, and emergency declarations, many Georgians tried to obtain a concealed carry permit last year, only to learn that many localities stopped taking concealed carry permit applications for a time, in reaction to Covid-19.
Georgians were rocked again, just a few months later, by incredible acts of violence as Antifa and BLM thugs rioted, burned, and looted their way across the country (including Atlanta) as the police were often told to simply stand down.
In fact, the Georgia National Guard had to be brought in to quell the violent, as is was too much for local law enforcement to handle.
The events of last year made it very clear that the government can’t be counted on to keep us safe 24-hours a day, even if their political leadership lets them try.
Despite this, if you want to carry a handgun for self-defense, you are required to take a test, pay a fee, and add your name to a government database first.
It’s crazy.
And in sixteen states (roughly one-third of America) it’s not required, thanks to their Constitutional Carry laws. But Georgia is still not on that list.

Gun owners came out in droves just a few months ago to support pro-gun candidates, while Michael Bloomberg attacked pro-gun legislators here in Georgia with millions of dollars worth of digital ads.
Gun owners held the line, making sure that Bloomberg didn’t flip either chamber of the legislature.
More than that, gun owners booted kicked gun-grabbers like House Minority Leader Bob Trammell out of office for attacking Stand-Your-Ground law while putting pro-gun champions like Marjorie Taylor Greene into Congress!
I don’t know about you, but I think it’s high time that legislative leaders in Atlanta return the favor to gun owners by passing Constitutional Carry legislation this year!
But we all know that a growing number of moderates in the Capitol are openly warring against Constitutional Carry, so if we are going to pass H.B. 2, we are going to need a mountain of grassroots energy!
>>> So sign your petition in support of H.B. 2 NOW! <<<
Georgians have been pushing for this legislation for years, only to have Speaker Ralston and other moderates shut this bill down. The media is opposing us, the liberals are opposing us, and the moderates are opposing us.
So when you’re done, please chip in $50, $25 or even just $10 to help Georgia Gun Owners mobilize grassroots gun owners in support of this legislation.
Please take action today!

P.S. GGO’s Constitutional Carry legislation (H.B. 2) has been filed in the House, by State Representative Philip Singleton!
As you know, this legislation will allow Georgians to carry a firearm for self-defense without having to beg permission from the government or add your name to a government database, just like gun owners in sixteen other states can do!

And if you can, please make a donation of any amount, so that Georgia Gun Owners can crank up the heat in Atlanta.
