Radical Left Mayors are growing bold and passing gun control via local ordinance.
Georgia has had preemption law on the books for almost 30 years, stating that only the Georgia legislature and the Governor can regulate firearms.
But Savannah Mayor Van Johnson has ignored this law and passed gun control via city ordinance requiring law-abiding gun owners to be thrown in jail for 30 days if their gun are stolen from their car!
SB-163/204 will put an immediate end to this, raising the civil penalties from $100 to $50,000 for violating preemption! This also allows any law-abiding gun owners to immediately take these Radical Leftist Democrats to court without needing the Attorney General’s office to take action.
SB-163/204 has passed the Senate and is now sitting in the House Rules Committee!
Email the Committee now, telling them to vote ‘NO’ on any harmful amendments, to restore the bill to how it came from the Senate and put it on the House Floor!
