With a new Congress convening very early next year, there are a lot of opportunities facing gun owners. Possibly too many.
Do we focus on rolling back Executive Orders from the Biden era?
How about getting Steve Dettelbach fired as Director of ATF?
Both of those things need to happen. But honestly, I look at this as the low hanging fruit. We are working with allies in Trump-world to make sure this happens very early in 2025.
Instead, we need to make generational changes next Congress.
And nothing would do more long-term damage to the Left’s gun control agenda than repealing the National Firearms Act of 1934! Congressman Eric Burlison’s bill to Repeal the NFA will be — without a doubt — the biggest gun bill of 2025!
HELP US REPEAL THE NFA IN 2025!
Even though the National Firearms Act (NFA) was passed by Congress in the 30’s, it would be a mistake to think of it as a law.
The NFA is more like an expandable suitcase.
You know what I mean, right? You’re trying to fit all your stuff into a carry-on suitcase for a flight, but it won’t work. But when you unzip it, you have space to cram your stuff in there.
That’s what the NFA has become.
Initially passed to allow the President to regulate machine guns, the NFA has been expanded dozens of times to allow the President to declare another firearm or accessory as an ‘NFA Item’ –- allowing the ATF to regulate it.
When Biden wanted to ban pistol braces, he just said ‘it’s an NFA item’ and it became illegal. It’s like magic for tyrants!
When Biden wanted to redefine what a firearms dealer was (to ban private party sales) he did the same thing.
Until we repeal the National Firearms Act, whoever is in the White House will have the ability to bypass Congress and mandate gun control by executive fiat repeatedly.

As I said, Congressman Burlison is filing this bill for the upcoming Congress. But he needs cosponsors for this bill to move.
This should be easy, right? Afterall, House Republicans are in the majority and virtually all of them campaign as being pro-gun at election time!
But we all know what normally happens: once they are elected, Congressional Republicans like to forget about gun owners.
We can’t let that happen, not after what we accomplished on November 5! We need to make real gains, now!

Congress hasn’t passed a pro-gun bill in decades. They haven’t rolled back a gun control bill in my lifetime, perhaps ever.
But after four years of Joe Biden in D.C., we know the end goal of the Left. They want all of us disarmed. They will never stop trying to accomplish that. We need to score big wins right now!
